The Orlando Career Fair will be held Tuesday, September 13th from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Crowne Plaza Hotel Orlando-Universal. Click here to register and find out what employers will be there.
There will also be a Central Florida Job Fair sponsored by the Central Florida Employment Council on Wed., November 9th from noon to 4:00 p.m. at the Central Florida Fairgrounds. Click here to register and find out what employers will be there.
Current job postings can be found at the Work Force Central Florida website here. These websites also offer resume building tools and services, as well as free job search seminars, training classes, networking meetings, webinars and podcasts designed to sharpen your skills, and other programs. For example, the Central Florida Employment Council will host a “Re-charge and Re-energize Your Job Search Seminar” on September 14th. You can also register to attend WFCF’s Interview Preparation Seminar on September 19th.
Unemployed and Having Trouble Applying for Unemployment Benefits? As you may know by now, the State of Florida has gone to a completely on-line application process.
