I have been in central Florida for over 20 years, watching the area grow and change. Keeping up with real estate is not just a profession for me, it’s a passion, one I’ve had all my life. I LOVE helping clients find great Orlando Homes!
I got my first real estate license in North Carolina when I was 19, working in property management first in a senior complex and later in a large family community, but that wasn’t the beginning! I credit an insightful uncle who gave me a set of legos when I was about 5, and I promptly began to build houses with rooms to scale and windows placed properly. I even created closets and patios! It was a very large lego set!!
These days, I have the ability to combine my passion for homes and my love for serving others into my mission, which is to serve the needs of others and model my faith in God every day.
Professionally, I am a Realtor with Zhouse Realty Group, a small, intimate firm based in East Orlando. We provide FULL SERVICE REAL ESTATE ASSISTANCE, from rentals and property management, to full real estate transactions related to buyers and sellers. I’ve assisted first time buyers, distressed sellers, investors, newcomers to Orlando and all areas of central Florida who prefer to rent for awhile and everything in between. Every client is different with their own very special needs. It’s my job and my goal to provide each and every one with the personal, professional service they deserve.
I am committed to continuing education that makes me a better agent for my clients, earning my CDPE (Certified Distressed Property Expert) designation in the Fall of 2010, which gives me special insight into short sales and bank owned REO properties on both the buying and selling sides. I expect to complete the rigorous training for the GRI, Graduate Realtor Institute, in the Fall of 2011. I make it a point to gain as much education as possible and keep up with new laws and regulations. I am also a Notary Public, providing witness to document sigings and even officiating weddings! Being a Notary means that my background has been certified by the state of Florida and is just one additional testament to character. Additionally, my affiliation with the Orlando Realtor Association, the Florida Realtor Association, and the National Realtor Association provide tools that help me serve clients in many ways, tried and true, fresh and bold.
Whatever the reason, moving can be difficult for everyone, physically and emotionally, whether it is across town or across the country. My job is to assist you or someone you care about to make it as smooth a transition as possible, through constant training, diligent research and attention to client priorities and timeframes. A team of service providers can be found on this site for your convenience, and I am always adding to it. This website is just one tool that I use, and by employing technology in a practical way, I attempt to have the most availability possible, while respecting the needs of my own family.
Speaking of family, I am married to Bruce, for nearly 30 years, mom of 3 adult children, 1 of whom has 3 of her own. I am a Christian, and seek to always glorify God in all I do. My life so far has taken many turns, but at each turn, God, my family, friends, and those I meet along the way form the focus of each day. The question I have in the morning is “Who can I serve today, and how can I best do that?” Often it’s the stranger in the check out line who just needs a kind word, or the mom with the smiling child who loves to know that I really think that child is adorable! Other times, it’s the client who needs a caring, competent agent to fulfill their very specific needs.
If someone you know is buying, selling, or leasing real estate in central Florida, please give me the opportunity to meet and share what I can do. There is no obligation or cost for a consultation or question and if we find that it’s a good fit, I’ll get right to work! Please contact me right away! It’s a blessing and a privilege for that consideration!
